Joining bonus terms and conditions

1. Definitions
1.1 Registration Date: The date that you are registered on the Pulse Nursing at Home
database.

1.2 Compliant: Pulse Nursing at Home follows Recruitment and Employment Confederation
Best Practice Guidelines. Under these guidelines support worker checks are required, prior to the support worker commencing work. These include: rights to work, proof of identity, DBS enhanced disclosure, occupational health and immunity, professional registration, specific training, competency interview, work history, references, professional and educational certificates. Once a support worker file is in accordance with the guidelines, the support worker file is deemed compliant and they are eligible to work.

2. Qualifying conditions
This scheme is only applicable to professionals meeting criteria 2.1 and either 2.2 or 2.3 below.

2.1 If you have previously registered with Pulse Nursing at Home but have not worked within the last 12 months, then you are entitled to re-register and claim the joining bonus scheme payment when you have met the qualifying criteria.

2.2 Support workers must have completed the below within 15 days of their registration date:

•             Application form
•             Online interview
•             Background check form
•             Professional ID verification if applicable and applying for new DBS
•             eLearning courses if associate is unable to provide certificates
•             Occupational health online form
•             Provided all relevant reference details

Once this is completed the support worker must confirm a date they can attend a Core Skills Workshop, if unable to provide certificates for training, within the 15 days. This date must be attended and completed for the support worker to qualify for the bonus payment. If the support worker is unable to attend a booked core skills workshop date they must cancel 7 days prior to training and have re-booked core skills workshop within the 3 days.

2.2 Support workers must have completed their registration with Pulse Nursing at Home and have completed 50 hours work within three months of completing their registrations

2.4 Support workers must have completed their Hirevue video interview within three days of receiving the email link. Providing their video interview is deemed a pass, they will receive a £15 payment contribution towards their DBS once it is applied for by the recruitment team. Please note this excludes support worker with their DBS already on the update service.


3. How to claim bonus payments
3.1 It is the responsibility of the support worker to request the bonus payment from Pulse Nursing at Home by emailing rewards@pulsenursingathome.co.uk    

3.2 Support Workers who work for Pulse Nursing at Home will be eligible to claim their £100 payment upon completion of 50 hours work after registration with Pulse Nursing at Home and providing they meet terms 2.1 and 2.2.

4. Bonus payments
4.1 Payment will be made in a lump sum once the relevant qualifying criteria has been met.
Payments are non-transferable.

5. General terms
5.1 Pulse Nursing at Home reserves the right to reject claims if all the terms and
conditions have not been met.

5.2 Pulse Nursing at Home reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of the
Joining Bonus Scheme at its absolute discretion.

5.3 Pulse Nursing at Home reserves the right to withdraw the Pulse Nursing at Home Joining Bonus Scheme at any time and is under no obligation to inform support workers, introduce a replacement scheme or offer compensation.
